Situated in the heart of Bangkok’s backpacking area, Jam Hostel Bangkok is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, and it is only a few minutes walking distance away from Khao San Road and Phra Arthit Ferry Pier, making it the perfect spot to stay at if you want to visit the major sight-seeings such as Grand Palace and Wat Pho.
Note: Our hostel is a white colored 5-story building located in Phrasumen road, opposite to a 7-11, right between Mad Monkey Hostel and a PTT gas station. It is only 120 meters away from Phra Sumen Fort, which is the landmark of the street.
How to Get Jam
By Airport Shuttle Bus
You can take the air-conditioned shuttle bus No.S1 and take off at Phra Arthit Road stop or Khao San Road Stop, then walk a few hundred meters to the hostel.
The cost is 60 THB per person. Depending on the traffic, the bus ride takes about 1 hour to more. The bus departs every half an hour, from 6 AM to 8 PM daily.
You can follow the signs to find the shuttle bus station near the gate No.7 at the 1st floor of Passenger Terminal (Level 1) in the airport.
By Taxi
It costs around 450 THB including the toll way fee by a metered taxi from the airport to the hostel. Depending on the traffic, the taxi ride takes around 1 hour to 1.5 hours reach.
The airport has a taxi service counter in 1st floor of Passenger Terminal (Level 1), but it is usually very busy and charges extra 50 THB for the taxi service. You can also get a taxi outside on Level 4, Floor of Departures.

By Airport Rail Link
You can take the airport rail link in the airport to Phaya Thai station, then take a taxi or Tuk Tuk to the hostel. The tickets are available at the station, from 50 THB to 90 THB. The cost of taking a taxi or Tuk Tuk should be around 150 THB. The airport rail link is available from 6:30 AM to midnight.

The cost is 50 THB per person. Depending on the traffic, the bus ride takes about 50 minutes to 1.5 hour to reach Khao San Road stop. The bus departs every half an hour, from 7 AM to 11 PM daily.
Where to take A4 Bus: At the airport, you can find A4 bus outside of exit No.6 at Terminal 1, or exit No.12 at Terminal 2.

It costs around 400 THB including the troll way fee by a metered taxi. Depending on the traffic, the taxi ride takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour to reach our hostel.
The airport has a taxi service counter in the Passenger Floor but it is usually very busy and charges extra 50 THB for the taxi service. You can also get a taxi outside of Departure Floor, Level 3, in Terminal 1 or 2.
It is a great way to see Chao Phraya River and visit temples and Grand Palace. It is less than 200 meters from our hostel to Phra Arthit Pier for taking an express boat.
